The Better Living Expo, organized by the Optimist Club of Salisbury, will return to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on February 21–22, 2026.
This long-running event showcases a broad range of local businesses — from home-improvement contractors and real estate agents to fitness services and energy providers — alongside a fine arts and crafts section highlighting talented regional artisans.
Admission is budget-friendly (around $3), making it a family-friendly way to explore the latest trends and innovations for both home and lifestyle.
Proceeds benefit the Optimist Club’s youth programs, making it not just a trade show but a community-supporting tradition.
7th Annual MHS Cavaliers Holiday Market
The 7th Annual Middletown High School Holiday Market is back on Saturday, December 13th, and it’s the perfect way to wrap up your holiday shopping!
With over 100 vendors offering everything from handcrafted gifts and seasonal décor to boutique finds and tasty treats, this festive market has something for everyone on your list.
Shoppers can enjoy a wide variety of food concessions throughout the day, and be sure to grab some raffle tickets for a chance to win exciting prizes. With the market taking place so close to the holidays, it’s one of the last big opportunities to finish up your shopping while supporting local small businesses.

This year, Candy Cane Lane returns in a new location and day at the new Frederick D. Thomas Middle School in Lewes for a magical holiday extravaganza.
Transforming the school's gym cafeteria, and hallways into a festive wonderland, the event showcases over 120 local artisans and crafters offering handmade gifts—like wreaths, quilts, woodwork, baked treats, glassware, and more.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of baked goods, hot chocolate, and enter for door prizes, creating a warm, family-friendly ambiance while supporting community causes.
Hosted by Saltwater Roots Boutique & Events, this charming affair not only offers a unique shopping experience, but also helps raise funds benefiting needy families within the Cape school district.
